We want to hear your views on how we let new-build council homes

We’re reviewing our New Build Local Lettings Policy, which sets out how we let new-build homes, including any homes we build or buy. We’re considering making some changes and would like to know your views.

Your feedback will help us decide how we let these new-build homes in the future. Before making any changes, we’ll carefully assess the impact to understand which groups of people might be affected.

Take part in the survey before it closes on 8 March 2026.

Once the review is complete, the final updated policy will be published on our website. If you’d like more information about applying for new-build council homes or joining the housing register, please visit www.leedshomes.org.uk.
