Welcome to Leeds Woodland Creation 2023

In 2019 Leeds City Council declared a climate emergency. To combat this, we are planting 5.8 million trees over 25 years, which equates to 50 hectares of land every year.

Our through due-diligence process and the internal consultation process are complete. So, we are now ready to share our proposed Woodland Creation 2023 sites for public engagement.
