What is this topic about?
Leeds City Centre, along with the 62 town and local centres across the district, have a really important role as a focus for shops, services and leisure. The Plan will need to reflect the changing nature of retail (including the impacts of an increase in online shopping) and help to support the role of town and local centres as valued focal points for community and cultural activities.
We want to hear from you about how we should be planning for our centres, including the overall role of centres, the need for commercial development, the boundary of the City Centre, and the approach to hot food takeaway and gambling premises.
