First Grant Awarded on New Briggate

The high street heritage action zone has awarded its first grant to the owner of the 33-45 New Briggate. The funding is for preparatory works, including the removal of old fixtures and fittings, to take place ahead of the building’s full refurbishment.

During Phase 2 of the project, funding will also be put in place for the refurbishment of the building and its conversion to apartments, as well as repairs to the elevations and installations of new windows.
