Have your say on quieter residential streets to support safer walking and cycling

With lower traffic levels during lockdown, we have seen more people with the confidence to walk and cycle around our towns, city and neighbourhoods. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Connecting Leeds are using trial measures to enable social distancing and active travel across the city.

Active Travel Neighbourhoods, also known as “low traffic neighbourhoods”, include clusters of residential streets which are near a main or “distributor” road. Instead of allowing outside access from non-local traffic, measures will be implemented to discourage or remove ‘through’ traffic. Please Have Your Say on the plans for each neighbourhood.
