A660 scheme update November

The next two weeks will see a number of works happening in Sections 1,2 and 5. Find out more about each below. 

Sections 1&2 – A660 Otley Road and Headingley Lane from Shaw Lane to Richmond Avenue

• Surfacing works completed on inbound section of cycle track
• Works will continue outside of Headingley Central (Arndale Centre)
• Night works have begun between St Michael's Road and Shaw Lane on the outbound side of the road, with works taking place from 7pm-6am, with noisy works being undertaken prior to 11pm.
• Paving works fully completed at St Michael's Road, with event held there for Remembrance Sunday.

Section 5 – Hyde Park Corner 

• Works continuing on Woodhouse Street repaving the old footway, and creating a new, large community area.
• Works continuing at the corner of Hyde Park Road and A660 to complete traffic signals and pedestrian crossing upgrades.
