East city centre car parks

Driving to car parks East of the city centre using the ring road

Transforming our City Centre

Driving to car parks in the east of the city centre (NCP Kirkgate Market, Victoria Gate)

Driving to Leeds city centre? Use the ring road - map

The easiest way to drive to car parks in the east of the city centre is by using the city’s ring road.

From the M621 you should use Junction 4 following the A61. Stay left to follow the A61 on to St Peter’s Street and follow the signs for car parks.

This is usually easier than using Junction 3 and driving through the city centre, as previous routes are likely to have changed and, in some instances, may now be closed to private vehicles.

If you are travelling from the A64(M) westbound:

  • Leave the A64(M) onto Marsh Lane and follow it as it turns right at the traffic lights onto the A61 and then East Street. Following this to Kirkgate. Turn left onto Cross York Street and then right onto York Street for the NCP multi-storey car park.

Or:

  • Follow the A61 onto St Peter’s Street to the roundabout, turning left into the Victoria Gate multi-storey car park.
