What do you think about our Local Lettings Policies?

In Leeds, we let most of our council homes based on housing need through the Council’s Lettings Policy. However, there are some homes that are subject to Local Lettings Policies (LLPs). This means that extra lettings criteria will apply to prioritise applicants based on circumstances such as their age or local connection to an area of Leeds.

Our LLPs have been in place for many years and have not been reviewed to check if they are still needed. We need to make sure we are addressing the housing need across the city. We're considering changing our approach and want your input.
