Scatcherd Park improvements start

Greenspace improvements to Scatcherd Park have commenced this week starting first on the refurbishment of the Sunken Garden.  This refurbished space will include new seating, tree and bulb planting and a new access ramp as shown below.  The refurbishment of the Sunken Garden requires a specialist contractor to undertake the work.

Works will take approximately 8 weeks and are being funded from the Morley Town Deal grant as well as contributions from Section 106 monies and the Community Infrastructure Levy pot.

The remaining works, including the new playground at Scatcherd Park will begin in October 2026.
