New City Hall Renovation
About
Work is planned in 2026 to renovate the city-owned facility at 23129 E. Mission Ave. (formerly owned by Legacy Church) into Liberty Lake's new City Hall building. This new city hall site will accommodate current and future growth for the operations of city services and will provide an enlarged council chamber for public meeting and events.
The renovated 14,000-square foot building will have the capacity for about 40 employees. The new City Hall will provide nearly double the space of the 7,500 City Hall building at 22710 E. Country Vista Drive. The current City Hall building will be used by the city's Parks and Recreation Department after the renovated site on E. Mission Avenue opens for operations.
The Liberty Lake City Council on March 3, 2026, selected Dardan Enterprises, Inc., of Post Falls to provide the construction services for the new City Hall at an amount not to exceed $3,600,000.
The Spokane Office of Tacoma's BCRA Inc. is serving as the project's interior designer and architectural firm. PAE Consulting Engineers Inc. of Portland, Oregon, is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. Additional services will come from Seattle's DCI Engineers, Spokane's True Edge Engineering LLC, and Spokane's Turner & Townsend Heery LLC.
