Neyland Avenue Stormwater Project

This project will install curbing and gutters on the south side of E. Sprague Avenue from 24516 E. Sprague Avenue to the street’s intersection with E. Gage Street and S. Neyland Avenue to collect and convey stormwater to a drywell for infiltration. Stormwater will flow into a hydrodynamic separator at the curb line before flowing into the drywell.

On the north side of E. Sprague Avenue, two sidewalk inlets will be replaced to collect and convey stormwater to a series of bio-infiltration swales for treatment. This will include minor regrading at inlets to facilitate runoff capture in the sidewalk inlets. Flows greater than the water quality design flow will overflow into a drywell for infiltration. Accumulated sediment will need to be trapped and removed upstream of the bio-infiltration swale with the use of check dams.

Awarded construction cost: $119,988
