East Mission Avenue Overlay
About
Work is planned to be completed in spring 2026 on edge grinding and overlay of E. Mission Avenue, with updating of existing curb ramps to bring them into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project will reahabilitate the roadway to enhance driving and biking conditions. This work on E. Mission Avenue will run from E. Country Vista Drive to N. Molter Road.
The map here shows the Pavement Condition Index ("PCI") throughout the project area. The PCI involves a 0-100 score that indicates how healthy a road is. The higher numbers indicate smoother and safer pavement, while the lower numbers indicate an increased need for repair. PCI condition categories are: Excellent (86-100), Good (71-85), Fair (56-70), and Poor (41-55). The majority of E. Mission Ave. is in the "Poor" category.
Awarded construction cost: $977,177
