Week of August 15, 2022 Project Update

The contractor is two weeks into the project and is making their way up Mackey Avenue. It may look like a tornado went through as the contractor progresses but please know the contractor must complete a final restoration that will make any disturbance better than what it was. That restoration includes new asphalt and grass restoration. Once the contractor finishes the main installation, they will tie into service lines. There will then be a downtime as we fill our new pipe and pass all necessary inspections and tests.

Work will then alternate to McElhattan Avenue as the contractor prepares tie-ins of existing water mains to the new water main.
