Piper-Harmon Playground Improvements

About

The Piper-Harmon Playground is getting some improvements funding by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds! The improvements will replace the current swing sets and install rubber fall surface under all of the equipment. The current play structures will stay put since they have some useful play life left! The fence around the playground, pavilion, and storage shed will also be replaced as part of the project.

The playground's parking lot will be redesigned to be more functional for visitors. A one-way lot will be featured with a new entrace off of Race Street and the exit onto Sherman Street.

Construction willl begin the week of June 27th and last for approximately 2 months. The playground will be closed during this time to ensure the safety of children and the construction workers on site.
