Little Rangers Summer Program

About

The Little Rangers Program is a summer program created to get school age children involved in City of Lock Haven parks, recreation, and community assets. Ranger Passports offer challenges to be completed at various locations to earn a sticker. Stickers can be placed on the spot for that park to show the challenge has been completed. Anyone who earns 10 out of 18 stickers will be rewarded with a special prize at the end of the summer!

Little Ranger Passports also include a section focused on Ranger Wellness. In this section, we encourage participants to be the best Ranger they can be by focusing on character, practicing gratitude, performing acts of kindness, getting involved in the community, and more!

To get started on this summer challenge, pick up a free Ranger Passport at Lock Haven City Hall (20 E Church Street), the Annie Halenbake Ross Library (232 W Main Street), or the Heisey Museum!
Acitivities are spread across many city parks, community buildings, and other interesting places in the City of Lock Haven. Stickers can be collected at various parks and locations including:

  • Jack Bailey Playground
  • Hanna Park
  • Hoberman Park
  • Piper-Harmon Playground
  • City Beach
  • Triangle Park
  • A Lifeguard at the City Beach
  • The Children's Library at the Annie Halenbake Ross Library
  • The Heisey House Museum
  • The Piper Aviation Museum
  • The Roxy Movie Theater
  • Clinton County Visitors Bureau
  • Downtown Lock Haven, Inc.

A full list of activities and where to find the corresponding stickers can be found on PAGE 13 of the Little Ranger Passport.
