Construction is complete!

City crews completed the construction of the pavilion and installed the signs toward the end of 2023, marking the completion of the Piper-Harmon Playground Improvement Project! The entire playground is available for play and we hope everyone enjoys the updates.

This project was funded by a Community Development Block Grant from the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. This funding source has been used for many projects in the city, including some set to occur this year. If you would like to keep up with other recreation projects in the city, visit the project pages for Taggart Park and Hoberman Park. These parks will be the site for improvements in 2023 and 2024.
