Fallon Alley Pedestrian Walkway Improvements
About
The City of Lock Haven was granted $50,000 from the T-Mobile Hometown Grant Program to make Fallon Alley a safe walkway and public space in the heart of downtown Lock Haven. The project will include the resurfacing the asphalt and installing tables, benches, and bike racks to promote walkability and bikeability. Some unique features that will be added to the alley include a solar charging station to charge mobile devices and a digital kiosk. The kiosk will display business and tourism information and help users navigate points of interests.
In addition to T-Mobile, many local businesses have also contributed to the redevelopment of Fallon through monetary or by contributing letters of support. We are grateful for their conitnued involvement in the making the downtown a better place to walk, eat, or shop!
