Catford is Young and Vocal

February saw Team Catford host Young and Vocal, Catford’s first ever night dedicated to celebrating and encouraging Catford’s next generation of creative minds. Attended by over 100 keen creatives from across South London, the evening took place in a vacant unit in Catford Shopping Centre and gave guests the opportunity to enjoy exciting live performances, admire striking artwork and rub shoulders with like-minded individuals. Taking place at the Catford Bridge Tavern just days before the World Cup, the festival will feature 40 different types of beer including the specially brewed Catford Pride Pale Ale. We’ve collected over 1,450 thoughts, ideas and concerns from people across the neighbourhood, and we want to hear more. Every single comment will be passed on to the architects responsible for designing the regeneration masterplan, a blueprint to guide development in Catford over the next 20 years.
