Lewisham Market - Marketing plan and upcoming events

Following our period of public engagement last year around the future of Lewisham Market, Lewisham Council have recently launched their marketing strategy, which aims to improve the market offer as well as draw more foot fall to the market.

We will also be progressing works to improve the look an feel of the market, including new stalls, new planting and a comprehensive waste management strategy.

Events

As part of our market promotion activities, we will be running a series of events that aim to encourage more visitors from the local and wider area. These events will maximise the use of space and encourage visitors to interact with the new and existing market stalls.

Easter egg hunt at Lewisham market

The Easter Bunny is coming to Lewisham and will be hiding eggs throughout the market. We need local families to help us find them.

Our sources say that between Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 April, 15 eggs will be hidden across the market. They might be hidden high or low, in amongst the vegetables or peeping out from shop windows.

If contestants can find all 15 eggs and you submit your entry by Monday 25 April, they will be entered into our raffle to win one of six egg-celently egg-citing prizes!
