We are transforming Lewisham’s historic market to attract more people and make better use of the space, during the day and after normal trading hours. This will breathe new life into the high street and bring more customers for local traders, who are we closely working with on this project. 

Plans for the market include:

• More space for socialising and events
• Improved pavements, seating and lighting
• An iconic canopy for market stalls and events
• Upgraded market stalls and facilities for traders
• New trees and plants
• Refurbished Clock Tower
