Transforming Deptford High Street
Building on what’s great about Deptford: responding to your views
Over the past two years, feedback from nearly 3,000 residents, traders, and visitors has shaped plans for Deptford High Street.
Concerns included cleanliness, safety, lighting, greenery, and pedestrianisation. We have repainted lighting columns, removed graffiti, and begun deep cleaning footways. Planned improvements include removing old phone boxes, tackling illegal parking and fly-tipping, installing bins and cycle hangars, enhancing lighting, adding rain gardens, and improving signage. No pedestrianisation will proceed without further engagement.
