Engagement findings and next steps

We are excited to share the findings from our engagement on Deptford High Street over summer and the timeline of what is coming next!

You told us you would like to see a cleaner and greener high street, with more events and advertising to attract visitors.

You also said having safer places to cross, more space to socialise and less parked cars would make the high street safer and more accessible.

Most people said they walk, cycle, or take the bus to the high street, and felt pedestrians should have priority over vehicles.

Local businesses and traders told us more about delivery and stall set up times, and said most employees walk or take the bus to work.
