Lewisham Council has secured £2.5m to transform Riverdale Sculpture Park

Lewisham Council has secured funding from the Mayor of London’s Civic Partnership Programme to regenerate the Riverdale Sculpture Park. The funding will be used to transform the park and is part of a wider strategy to reconnect Lewisham Town Centre with its nearby rivers.

We will use this platform to understand how residents feel about the park now, and how their views may change after the redevelopment. You can find out more information about the project and access surveys on this page to share your thoughts.

Social Life

Social Life are the evaluation and engagement consultants on this project and will be working closely with the design team to help develop meaningful approaches to engage and connect with priority groups.

Social Life is a research organisation that aims to understand how peoples' day-to-day experience of local places is shaped by the built environment, including housing, public spaces, parks and local high streets. We also look at how change, through regeneration, new development or small improvements to public spaces, affects the social fabric, opportunities and wellbeing of local areas.
