Have your say and help us allocate NCIL funds in your ward

Neighbourhood community infrastructure levy (NCIL) is a new funding programme designed to help communities to support the development of their local wards. You can help develop your local area by identifying your priorities for how the Council spend the NCIL.

What NCIL can be spent on

NCIL can be spent on new or improved infrastructure, or anything else that addresses the demands that development places on an area. Find out more about NCIL .

Tell us your priorities for NCIL spending

Lewisham Council is consulting the local community to see how you would like to spend the NCIL. Read the information below to help you identify priorities for NCIL spending in your area.

You can navigate between the tiles below to learn more about:

  • the NCIL fund
  • projects in your ward
  • projects throughout the Lewisham borough.
  • After you have looked at the available documents, you can identify your spending priorities and tell us what priority you think is important and where it needs to be addressed. The first stage of consultation is now open until 22 October 2019.

At this stage, the Council want to identify broad priorities for NCIL. Your local assembly meeting will discuss these priorities on 29 October 2019 .

    What happens next

When the priorities have been agreed, the Council will ask the local community for project ideas. The Council will also email you if you identified a priority to ask you to submit your project ideas. Visit these web pages to see any recent news.

After the priorities have been set for your ward, you will be able to apply for funding for projects that address these priorities. Find out more about the next stages of the NCIL process.
