The final output of the Citizen Science project was the production of a zine: A Neighbour's Guide to Navigating Retrofit.
This was produced by Citizen Scientists as a result of their interviews and research on residents' experiences of previous home improvement works carried out by Lewisham Council. It is written in the Citizen Scientists' own words and addressed directly to residents about to start the process.
The zine covers what retrofit is and why it matters; what homes in Lewisham looked like before works; what each type of measure (solar panels, glazing, insulation, ventilation) involves and what disruption to expect; and what residents who have already been through it most want future residents to know.
