Chase Lane Park

Check out the following documents

Works are ongoing at Chase Lane Park in Chingford Mount

The design includes a new multi-use games area, an updated and extended skate park area, improvements to the existing play equipment area, (retaining some of the much loved pieces of equipment and replacing some of those that have become outdated) and extending the gym/fitness area with new pieces of equipment.

Works commenced in March 2025 and are expected to complete in Summer.

For the duration of the works the play area will be closed to the public to ensure public safety. However, access to the main footpaths and remainder of the park will remain open throughout the construction period.

Chase Lane Park Proposal

KEY

1 - Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)

MUGA edges can be versatile and offer slopes, resting points and openings to allow for different uses to happen all at once.

2 - Skatepark

Inclusive, all ages skate board and wheeled sports area. The skate park offers a raised edge for more informal wheeled sports and hang out spaces

3 - Footpaths

The new playground will offer a main accessible pathway, wide enough to welcome everyone through the different spaces

4 - Adventure Area

This area will offer appropriate play features including changes in levels, swings, slides and climbable features.

5 - Child Area

Engaging play features for children under 5 years within a safe enclosed area, with places for carers to sit and talk.
