Sustainable Landscape Design

Spring is here and you might be finding yourself wanting to zhuzh up your yard and garden spaces or even a small patio! Each week, we will be re-releasing a video in the Sustainable Landscape Design series and providing discussion space to answer your questions.

This comprehensive 7-part series offers practical guidance for transforming your landscape into a resilient and sustainable environment. We collaborated with community experts - the Los Alamos Master Gardeners and the New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Agency - to provide the tools and knowledge necessary to design landscapes that conserve resources, enhance local biodiversity, and reflect the natural beauty of your dream outdoor space.

Each week, participants of this project will gain access to a new video module that delves into key aspects of sustainable landscape design, ranging from water conservation techniques to plant selection strategies tailored to our unique climate. You can have the garden and outdoor lifestyle you want while being conscious of water conservation, fire preparedness, and ecosystem support, and this is the series to help you get there.
