Local Parks and Recreation Grant (Rocket Park)

Objective 1

• Construction of new 50' long by 20' wide boat/kayak ramp

Objective 2

• Resurface existing tennis court to have 2 pickleball courts, 1 full basketball court, and 1 half basketball court for kids

Objective 3

• Pave entrance, parking lot and turnaround area by the water

Objective 4

• Construction of new pavilion

Objective 5

• Create new ADA access paths to playground, clubhouse, and courts.

Budget Overview

• The Local Parks and Recreation Grant is a 50/50 match that totals $230,000. The City of McMinnville would spend a maximum of $230,000 and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation would reimburse the City $115,000.
