Objective 1

• 250,000 BTU used oil heater for the Public Works department

Objective 2

• 250 gallon collection and storage tank for acceptance of used oil from DIYers

Objective 3

• DOT approved trailer to have transport the collection tank and have used oil collection events

Objective 4

• Educational materials to disperse amongst McMinnville citizens pertaining to the benefits of recycling used oil

Objective 5

• Obtain spill prevention materials in the event of an oil spill during used oil collection

Budget Details

• The total grant amount is $54,500 with no match. The City of McMinnville would purchase the supplies and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation would reimburse $54,500.
