Updating Metro Vancouver's Liquid Waste Management Plan

Metro Vancouver and our members are updating the Liquid Waste Management Plan.

The updated Liquid Waste Management Plan, once approved by the provincial government, will establish the coordinated approach for wastewater and rainwater management in the Metro Vancouver region. It sets out goals, strategies, and actions for Metro Vancouver and its member jurisdictions that help protect human health and the environment, while using wastewater as a resource and minimizing treatment costs.
