Recreation & Wellness Center Development Project

Want to help shape the future of Montpelier recreation? Join us at one of three public input sessions designed to deepen our assessment of Montpelier's recreational needs and opportunities. These meetings are intended to give an overview of the upcoming planning process for the Country Club Road Site property and open it to a brainstorming session moderated by the Power Wellness Group. We want to hear your ideas and goals for the project!

As outlined in the Country Club Road (CCR) Actionable Plan, the time has come to initiate the crucial public engagement process for the future of our recreation and community spaces. The City, in partnership with Power Wellness, is excited to launch this critical step in public process to seek community feedback and understand your priorities. While we delve into the development project for a comprehensive Recreation & Wellness Center, your thoughts, ideas, and perspectives are invaluable to establishing recreational ammenities that resonates with our community's needs and aspirations.

As part of this extensive process, Power Wellness will be leading targeted focus groups with stakeholders and community organizations starting in July, as well as facilitating public input sessions, following the successful model of the Country Club Road Community Meetings. With options to participate in-person, semi-remotely, or entirely online, your involvement and feedback is both accessible and essential. This collaborative process will help us ensure the City continues to provide the services our community members want and need.
