The first Recovery, Resilience and the Future of Montpelier forum took place on Thursday, August 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 at Alumni Hall at the College of Fine Arts. The meeting was designed to bring the community together to share ideas, concerns, and aspirations for Montpelier's recovery and long-term resilience.
Montpelier resident Paul Costello organized, hosted, and facilitated the forum and ORCA Media livestreamed the event on You Tube for those who couldn't attend in person. Over 300 people attended in person while another 300 participated through Zoom.
Residents were encouraged to share their thoughts through the Recovery, Resilience, and the Future of Montpelier Padlet ahead of the meeting.
The community meeting is convened by the Montpelier Foundation and Montpelier Alive in partnership with the City of Montpelier.
