Construction has started!

If you have not been on the west side of town recently, construction has officially started. Lakeshore Drive is currently closed between Edgewater and Beach Street.

Due to warmer weather, the city was able to get an early start on the project, putting us slightly ahead of schedule.

Work Completed the Week of March 31

• An old hydrant was removed
• Two broken water valves were removed and replaced

Work Completed Last Week

• Water service replacement began and is ongoing.

Anticipated Work This Week

• Water service replacement will continue through the week of April 13.
• Once underground work is complete, the road milling process will begin to remove existing pavement. This work may start later this week or next.
