The contractor has submitted an updated schedule and plans to begin phase 2 on Tuesday, September 8th. Signs, barrels and message boards should go up next week. Local traffic (destinations within the work zone) will be maintained from one end or the other. Lakeshore Drive will be closed to thru traffic; please take the detour of Sherman to Beach.
Pedestrians and bikes; please be aware of your surroundings. If you continue to use the bike path, just be aware and cautious of construction equipment.
