Thank You for Making the 3rd Annual Harvest Hay Bale Trail a Hit!
The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Muskegon Social District would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in and visited the 3rd Annual Harvest Hay Bale Trail this fall!

From September 27 through October 31, downtown Muskegon came alive with creativity as local businesses and organizations transformed hay bales into festive, fall-themed works of art. Visitors strolled Western Avenue from 4th Street to Terrace Street, admiring each unique creation and casting their votes for their favorites.

This year’s competition was the stiffest yet, with twenty imaginative entries that showcased the incredible talent and community spirit found throughout Muskegon. After weeks of voting, we’re excited to announce the winners of this year’s Harvest Hay Bale Trail:

🥇 1st Place: Laskco Services with their “Stitch” sculpture — 367 votes – they will bring home this year’s trophy and, of course, ultimate bragging rights!

🥈 2nd Place: Family Financial Credit Union with their “Mario Party” sculpture — 253 votes

🥉 3rd Place: Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore with their “Minion” sculpture – 204 votes

We want to thank every participant who joined in on the fun, as well as all the visitors who came downtown to explore, vote, and celebrate the season with us. Your enthusiasm and creativity continue to make downtown Muskegon a vibrant place to live, work, and play.

We can’t wait to see what you’ll dream up next year for the 4th Annual Harvest Hay Bale Trail!
