And the winner is ... Family Financial Credit Union. With the creativity and inspiration from Hanna-Barbera, the team created the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine in the inaugural Downtown Muskegon Hay Bale Competition. The team at Family Financial Credit Union won the popular vote for best hay bale decoration this fall. Among the City of Muskegon departments that participated, the Muskegon Fire Department won with a classic fire truck. Thank you to FFCU and the other 23 participating teams who decorated hay bales. And thank you to the 3,000 who voted for their favorite. Finally, thanks to the Muskegon Downtown Development Authority for sponsoring the event. The DDA plans to have the second year of the Hay Bale Competition underway next October.
