In the past two weeks, we saw concrete go in from Division east to Seaway; including curbs, driveways and sidewalk. That is when the new road starts to take shape! Which brings us to next week. Tentatively, the first layer of asphalt is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10. Asphalt also needs cure time but it’s more like hours, so please plan accordingly.
Crews are also working on underground from Hudson to Barclay. Sanitary repairs will begin next week, followed by water services and storm sewer work.
Look for crews to start work within Phase 2 (Franklin to Lakeshore) in the next few weeks. As we push west, crews will need to start work in this section soon.
