STR Pause Extended Until October 8, 2024

In March 2024, the City Commission put a pause on Short-Term Rental (STR) registrations, set to expire on September 8, 2024. On Tuesday, August 28, 2024, the commission approved a 30-day extension of this pause. This extension was considered prudent, as city staff are still finalizing updates to the STR rules based on the commission's feedback. The new expiration date for the pause is now Tuesday, October 8, 2024, with a goal of having the commission vote on a new ordinance in early September 2024.
