Notice of Public Review Period - Transportation Improvement Program

The Nantucket Planning and Economic Development Commission (NP&EDC) initiated a 21-day public review period to Amend the FFY 2026 Transit Program of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and for the draft FFY 2027-2031 for Nantucket on May 1, 2026.

The TIP is a fiscally constrained listing of federal and state funded regional transportation projects for the next 5 years. This document is federally required, and includes both roadway and transit projects, which ultimately are programmed in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program, or STIP.
A public meeting to solicit public comments will be held at 5:00PM on May 28, 2026 via Zoom Webinar. This public review period will conclude on May 28, 2026. For information about this meeting, please visit: https://www.nantucket-ma.gov/306/Planning-Economic-Development-Commission.
