Background

Habitat for Humanity Nantucket is constructing six homes for homeownership at 5, 7, and 9 Waitt Drive. The project is supported by a $4 million grant in partnership with the Affordable Housing Trust and the Community Preservation Committee. Over an 18-month period, six homes will be built, helping to accelerate the pace of Habitat home construction on Nantucket. All homes will serve families earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income and will be included on Nantucket’s Subsidized Housing Inventory (SHI) List.
