Please be advised of the following full road closures and major traffic disruptions scheduled across Nantucket this week due to utility upgrades, road repairs, and public events:

Independence Day Celebrations — Saturday, July 4

• Sustainable Nantucket — North Union Street and Cambridge Street (Federal Street to Water Street) closed, 7 AM through early afternoon. Every Saturday through October 31.

• Federal Street (Main to Indian Street) and Main Street closed for festivities, beginning at 8:30 AM through early afternoon. Come celebrate 250 years of American independence with your neighbors! Event details here.
