Ongoing Projects (all work week)

• Surfside Transportation Improvements Project: This project is ongoing through 06/18/2026. No road closures this week, but expect slow-downs by Lovers Lane for bike path paving.

Monday, June 8

• MODULAR MOVE - This move begins at 8 AM from the Steamship Authority and ends at 1A Toombs Court. The route includes Broad Street, South Water Street, across Main Street, Washington Street, Francis Street, Union Street, Orange Street, Old South Road, and ends at Toombs Court.

Wednesday, June 10

• HOUSE MOVE – This move begins at 8 AM from 44 Nonantum Avenue and ends at 2 Gardner Road. The route includes Nonantum Avenue, Surfside Road, Fairgrounds Road, Old South Road, Milestone Road, Polpis Road, and ends on Gardner Road.

Saturday, June 12

• Sustainable Nantucket - Total closing of North Union Street and Cambridge Street from Federal Street to Water Street, 7 AM - 1:30 PM. Every Saturday through October 31.

• Detour signs will be posted on-site.
• Emergency access will be maintained unless otherwise noted.
• Drivers should plan for delays and seek alternate routes where possible.
