Tom Nevers Road Sidepath

This approximately two-mile-long multi-use path along the east side of Tom Nevers Road will connect the Milestone Road Bike Path with the Old Navy Base playing fields and the neighborhoods along Tom Nevers Road. The project aims to improve safety and promote active transportation, such as biking and walking. A safer and more connected community benefits everyone.

This project supports the Select Board’s Strategic Plan Goal to “shift the commuter mode of choice from driving alone and promote the use of other modes of transportation and their safe interaction with one another.” Funding for design and construction was authorized at the 2019 and 2025 Annual Town Meetings. Final design, permitting, and easement acquisitions will be on-going through the spring of 2026 with a construction timeline to be determined afterwards.
