Pleasant Street Sidewalk (5 Corners to Main Street)
Neighborhood Outreach
Improvements to the Pleasant Street sidewalk, from York Street (5 Corners) to Main Street, are being planned for future implementation. The goals for these improvements include:
- Installing ADA-compliant brick sidewalks and curb ramps
- Improve ADA-compliance issues
- Maintaining historic character
- Improving traffic flow issues
There are three (3) focus areas along the roadway with multiple design options to address issues and achieve project goals.
- Silver Street to South Mill Street
- South Mill Street to Mill Street
- High Street to Summer Street
Community and neighborhood input is being requested to help leaders select a preferred design option. Please participate by taking the project survey (see below).
