Revitalizing Niceville’s Waterfront for the Future

The City of Niceville is proud to move forward with the long-term revitalization of the historic Niceville Landing area, beginning with exciting new improvements at Old Town Landing.

As part of this effort, the City will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, February 13th at 1:00 PM at the Niceville Landing site on Bayshore Drive, celebrating the start of construction on a brand-new dock and pier. This milestone marks a major step forward in transforming Old Town Landing into a vibrant, welcoming waterfront destination for residents and visitors alike.

A Major Investment in Our Community

The Old Town Landing improvements are made possible through funding from:

• Niceville Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA)

• Okaloosa County Tourist Development Funds

This project is part of the CRA’s broader Niceville Landing Rehabilitation Project, designed to enhance public access, strengthen economic opportunity, and create lasting community spaces along the waterfront.

What’s Coming to Old Town Landing

Once completed, Old Town Landing will feature:

• A new dock and pier providing enhanced waterfront access
• A family-friendly splash pad
• Commercial upland development to support local business growth
• Additional community-focused amenities designed for recreation, gathering, and enjoyment
