Marina Drive Infrastructure Improvements
Seacoast Utility Authority is replacing the 6-inch and 8-inch water main and the 4-inch force main along Marina Drive, between Yacht Club Drive and the northern cul-de-sac. These underground utilities have reached the end of their useful life and are being upgraded to ensure reliable service for residents and businesses in the area.
What’s Included in the Project:
- Install 770 feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main (open-cut installation)
- Install 560 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main (open-cut installation)
- Install 470 feet of 6-inch C-900 PVC force main (open-cut installation)
- Minimal disruption expected to existing water and wastewater services
Additional Coordination:
Coordination with the Village of North Palm Beach’s Drainage Project, which includes:
- New drainage inlets in low-lying areas and the cul-de-sac
- Milling and resurfacing of Marina Drive within defined project limits
- Updated road striping and signage
- New sidewalk on the west side of Marina Drive, north of Harbor Towers
What This Means for You
- Traffic: Lane closures and detours may affect daily travel. Please allow extra time when driving through the area.
- Marina Access: Access to boats and parking may be temporarily restricted. The Village will provide advance notice of any major impacts.
- Noise: Construction work may create noticeable daytime noise. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Project Timeline
- Estimated construction duration: 6 months
- Projected start date: February 2026
