Traffic Impacts: Traffic Pattern Shift Starting March 16

SR 5/US 1 Earman River Bridge Replacement Project

Southbound U.S. 1/S.R. 5 Earman River Bridge traffic from just south of Anchorage Drive to Northlake Boulevard will be shifted on Monday, March 16 to the new northbound bridge to safely facilitate the construction of the new southbound portion of the bridge. Two travel lanes will be open in each direction on the northbound portion of the bridge. Pedestrian detours and signage will guide pedestrians to the sidewalk located on the northbound side of the bridge. Access to all businesses and residences on the west side of U.S. 1/S.R. 5 will remain open. This traffic shift will remain in place until Spring 2027.
