Steering Committee appointed by City Council
A 10-person Steering Committee of citizen volunteers has been appointed by the City Council to help guide the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) project. They will be asked to listen to the issues and ideas identified by the consultant, GMC, and express their thoughts on those ideas. GMC will then modify their recommendation based on the group’s input.
The UDO project will be a 12 -18 month process culminating with public hearings before the Peachtree City Planning Commission and City Council in late 2023 and early 2024. We anticipate having two to three 2-hour Steering Committee meetings during the process.
The first Steering Committee meeting is scheduled for May 9 at 6:30 PM, held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
