Project Description

Currently, there is no direct path access across this area of Hwy 54. If a person wanted to go from Booth Middle School to McIntosh High School via golf cart, they would have to go 3.2 miles to tunnel T-21 near McDonald's to cross Hwy 54.

This project is proposed to include a feasibility study of potential locations and to recommend whether the crossing be a bridge or tunnel. It would also include the design and construction of the project as well as any land and/or easement acquisitions.
