City of Peoria's Engagement Hub
Welcome to the City of Peoria's Engagement Hub! In study sessions and council meetings, the Peoria City Council has identified these priority areas to continue advancing Peoria forward. These priorities are: Economic Development, Public Safety, Water Security, and Innovative Government.
The Engagement Hub is a place for the community to learn about, discuss, and collaborate on the ongoing and upcoming projects that make Peoria a great place to live, work and play.
Water Security
Creating a safer city also means protecting our Water Security, and City Council remains vigilant in funding the city’s water resources that will support the needs of the community for generations to come.
Public Safety
Peoria is one of the safest cities in Arizona, and city leaders have placed a high priority on supporting the Public Safety needs of Police and Fire-Medical to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Economic Development
The Economic Development Priority calls for new revenue and job creation to support the needs of a growing community, to maintain essential city services including police and fire-medical and supports quality of life programs that residents have come to depend on, such as parks and library programs - without raising tax rates.
Recently Completed Projects
Real Time Crime Center
Peoria's Real Time Crime Center will direct attention to high-crime areas, active crime in progress, and large-scale public events that require law enforcement or fire-medical presence or response from the city.
Peoria Airpark
JAN 2025: The City is no longer pursuing an airport/airpark, nor marketing for a private developer to build one in the city.
